BMW XM Label launched in India at INR 3.15 Crore, pumps 748 HP & 1000 Nm

BMW has launched its first-ever XM Label in the Indian market at the price of INR 3.15 Crore ex-showroom. BMW will be producing only 500 units of the XM Label worldwide out of which only 1 unit has been allocated to the Indian market making it one of the most exclusive car here. The BMW XM Label will be brought to India via the Completely Built Up Unit (CBU) route and the highly exclusive car will come with an M Hybrid system delivering extra power as well as comes with unique design elements.

Exteriors

The design is quite extrovert and features muscular proportions with large surfaces and clear lines. The car also comes with a front look that features on high-end BMW cars. In addition tooth’s, the XM Label also gets an illuminated Iconic Glow kidney grille with tornado red metallic accents that surround the grille and the diffuser. The exclusive car will be offered in BMW Individual Frozen Carbon Black metallic along with red accents to its wheel inserts and model badges. The red accents continue onto its brake calipers which are part of the M Sports Brakes. The SUV also gets exclusive 22-inch M Light alloy wheels.

Interiors

On the inside, the BMW XM Label also comes with high quality materials and features the exclusive M Lounge. The car gets a 3D headliner along with body pillars with black surfaces. To add extra sense of exclusivity the BMW XM label also comes with diamond-shaped upper sections on the backrests. The instruments panel, soon trim, centre console and the air vents also features red contrast stitching. The brand also offers a red XM badge below the control display and carbon fibre trim strip with red and blue accents along with a satin effect. The limited edition XM also gets a plaque below the control display that reads “1 of 500” showing its exclusivity.

Powertrain

Powering the XM Label is a 4.4-litre BMW M TwinPower Turbo V8-cylinder engine. The engine combined with a plug-in hybrid system with 25.7 kW lithium-ion battery pack produces 748 Hp of power and 1000 Nm of torque. The combustion engine in itself produces 585 Hp of power and 720 Nm of torque. With electric only power the XM Label is capable of traversing between 76-82 km. The XM Label is capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds and achieve a top speed of upto 250 kmph. This top speed can also be raised to 290 kmph using the M Driver’s package.
