German premium car manufacturer, BMW has launched the all-new BMW X5 M Competition at the price of INR 1,94,90,000 ex-showroom. India. With the all-new BMW X5 M Competition is one of the most powerful Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) in the brand’s SUV portfolio and combines all the performance-oriented cues and motorsport functionality from the BMW M and the renowned prowess of the BMW X range as well as everyday usability.
The BMW X5 M Competition is powered by a 4.4-litre BMW M TwinPower Turbo V-8-cylinder petrol engine that belts out 625 Hp of power and 750 Nm of torque matched to an 8-Speed M Steptronic Automatic Transmission with Drivelogic, three driving modes – Road, Sport and Track, Launch control function, Adaptive M Suspension Professional, M xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system with fully-variable torque distribution, Active M Differential, M Sport Exhaust System and M Compound Brakes for added stopping power. This enables the all-new BMW X5 M Competition to sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. The powertrain also comes with efficiency-enhancing features such as Automatic Start/Stop function and Brake Energy Regeneration that enables it to deliver 8.29 kmpl of fuel economy and produce 286 g/km of CO2 Emissions.
The all-new X5 M Competition features the hallmark M features such as gloss black treatment on the grille, large front bumper air intake openings that feed extra air into the powertrain heat exchanging system to help maintain thermodynamics, Adaptive LED Headlights with hexagonally shaped daytime running lights as standard and BMW Laserlight with no dazzle high beam function and 500 meters of range as an optional extra, BMW Individual Roof Rails High Gloss Shadow Line, aerodynamic ORVMs, 21-inch front and 22-inch rear M Light alloy wheels, a roof-mounted spoiler to improve aero efficiency, electrically operated split tailgate and ‘X5 M Competition’ badging in the rear.
