BMW has launched the X3 facelift in India at prices starting from Rs. 44.90 lakh (ex-showroom all-India).

The facelift X3 comes with BMW’s new design language with the kidney grille being more prominent, twin-circular headlights, revised front bumpers, new ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, new tail lamps, new 18″ alloy wheel design etc. The bootlid of the facelift X3 is now electrically operated. Safety features include 8 airbags, ABS with brake assist and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).
Interiors have been reworked slightly and get a new piano black finish on the centre console. It has the new BMW Connected Drive system with the latest iDrive with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Park Distance Control is available as standard. Centre console area also gets a redesigned climate control display.
The X3 gets the same engine as its previous model, but gets a few tweaks. It is now powered by a 2.0L TwinPower diesel unit producing 190 BHP as opposed to the previous 184 BHP and 400 Nm of torque. Engine is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox powering all four wheels. 0-100 kmph stint is achieved in 8.1 seconds and the claimed top speed is rated at 210 kmph. BMW also claims 18.56 kmpl of fuel efficiency for the facelift X3.
