BMW Motorrad has revealed the new F 900 R Force limited-edition motorcycle. The BMW F 900 R Force will currently be available in France in a limited production run of 300 units. The special limited edition F 900 R features a new bright livery and is also available with A2 licence conformity.
BMW Motorrad F 900 R Force features a combination of San Marino Blue body and Fluorescent Yellow lines. The colour scheme reveals the sporty character of the motorcycle by underlining the dynamic silhouette of the bodywork. Thanks to the Fluorescent colour line the sharp lines on the F 900 R Force are easy to detect. The muscular fuel tank also features the stylised ‘R’ on the sides and on top of the seat cowl reverberates with the motorcycle’s Roadster character.
The BMW F 900R features a stacked BMW LED headlamp, a minimal front fender and a small flyscreen on the front. The roadster features a chiselled fuel tank with integrated aero spoilers and minimal underbody cowling. The F 900 R features a scooped single-seat, seat cowling and straight handlebars. The motorcycle also features a TFT instruments screen, full LED lighting, riding modes and a quick shifter.
The BMW F 900 R comes with a liquid-cooled 895cc in-line twin-cylinder engine. The four-stroke four-valve DOHC motor produces 105 hp of power and 92 Nm of torque. The engine features an electronic fuel injection system and comes with a 6-speed gearbox with a wet multi-plate anti-hopping clutch. The BMW F 900 R can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 200 kmph. The F 900 R features an upside-down telescopic fork on the front and the rear suspension consists of a central monoshock mounted to the double-sided swinging arm.
While the F 900 R Force edition may not come to the Indian market, the brand retails the F 900 R in the Black Storm Metallic and Silver Metallic/Racing Red colour options. The motorcycle in the Indian market is priced starting at INR 10.80 lakh ex-showroom.
