BMW Motorrad has brought in the 2023 BMW R nineT 100 Years Edition. This is to commemorate 100 Years of BMW Motorrad. The design of the R nineT is an inspiration from 100 years of motorcycle manufacturing. The motorcycle retains the traditional roadster design recipe beginning with a compact tank and an upright seating place. To add to the 100-year edition’s exclusiveness there are quite a few touches. As for the engine, it is an air/oil-cooled, 1,170 cc, 109 hp two-cylinder boxer engine. But for the anniversary version, the engine gets some chrome and Option 719 components.
As mentioned, the R nineT 100 Years gets a chrome finish. This gives the motorcycle a mirror-like shine. In addition to this, it all makes the motorcycle more durable. We get to see that the tank gets a dual-tone finish of black and chrome with white double lining. To further add to the touch, the motorcycle also has to get knee pads and a 100 Years badge. There’s some classic chrome on the seat hump as well. The front wheel cover too is done in black and features a white double lining. Meanwhile, the seat bench gets a two-tone combination. This combination consists of black and oxblood.
The motorcycle rides on 719 Classic wheels with black anodized rim rings. The use of the optional 719 Shadow milled parts package further adds to the exclusive touch. We get to see cylinder head covers, engine housing covers, seat holders and oil filler plugs. Components like adjustable hand levers and footrests, pillion footrests, expansion tank covers and handlebar end mirrors form part of the 719 Shadow II package, while with the Comfort package customers can get heated grips, cruise control and Driving Modes Pro.
As for the pricing, BMW has put on a sticker price of INR 24,00,000 for the R nineT 100 Years.
