BMW Motorrad launches M 1000 XR Competition in India at INR 45,00,000

BMW Motorrad India has launched the ultimate Hyper Cross Over, the all-new BMW M 1000 XR Competition, at the price of INR 45 lakh ex-showroom. The all-new motorcycle is exclusively available in the M Competition variant, available as a
completely built-up unit (CBU). Interested parties can book the M 1000 XR Competition at all BMW Motorrad India
authorized dealerships from today onwards. The brand also announced that deliveries on the M 1000 XR Competition is set to commence from June 2024.

BMW Motorrad M 1000 XR Competition – Design

The BMW Motorrad M 1000 XR Competition, blends the best of both worlds – M-like performance and XR-like long-distance capability. The motorcycle features a dynamic design featuring ultra-compact and powerful proportions. In addition to this, the 3D surfaces on the motorcycle make it look more aggressive from the front. The bike also comes with new M winglets and signature LED lights. The M winglets offer downforce at high speed making the motorcycle more stable and also lowers the tendency to do wheelies.

BMW Motorrad M 1000 XR Competition – Engine

Powering the BMW M 1000 XR Competition is a power unit based on the S 1000 RR. However, BMW has modified the water-cooled 4-cylinder in-line engine for the dual personality motorcycle. The BMW ShiftCam technology engine produces 201 Hp of power and 113 of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The M XR is also capable of revving up to a maximum of 14,600 RPM and can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The crossover motorcycle is also capable of a 278 kmph top speed.
