BMW has announced its revised pricing for the upcoming year 2021. The price will be applicable across all the BMW and MINI models and will be effective from 4 January 2021. The price is expected to be increased by 2% across the portfolio. The reason for the price increase is given as the increase in the input cost.
BMW now locally produces models such as – the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, BMW 3 Series, BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, BMW 5 Series, BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, BMW 7 Series, BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X4, BMW X5, BMW X7 and MINI Countryman. The models which come to India via the CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit) include BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe, BMW X6, BMW Z4, BMW M2 Competition, BMW M5 Competition, BMW M8 Coupe, BMW X3 M and BMW X5 M. For the MINI range of products it includes the MINI 3-door, MINI 5-door, MINI Convertible, MINI Clubman and MINI John Cooper Works Hatch.

The manufacturing hub is located in Chennai whereas the spare parts warehouse is located in Mumbai. Currently, BMW India offers 21 models in its portfolio. In the sedan class, it has 2 series, 3 series, 5 series, 7 series and 8 series. In the SUV segment it has a total of 6 offerings; X1, X3, X4, X5, X6 and X7. In the GT line, it has 2 models; 3 Series Gran Turismo and the 6 Series Gran Turismo. The performance spec M lineup has M2 Competition, M5 Competition, M760Li, M8 Coupe, X3 M, X5 M and the X7 M50d. BMW also has a roadster body type model in form of the Z4 and in it also available in the M performance lineup as BMW Z4 M40i.
