BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupé launched in India

BMW has been fighting back to get the sales numbers back in the Indian luxury car market. At the Indian Auto Expo 2018, the German brand introduced the new M3 sedan and M4 coupe for our market.

Ex-showroom price:

  • The new BMW M3 Sedan – INR 1,30,20,000
  • The new BMW M4 Coupé – INR 1,33,05,000

Both these cars are brought to India as a CBU, and will be available across all BMW dealerships. BMW is offering both, the M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe with the competiton package as standard.

In terms of changes to the new model, you can see a new hexagonal adaptive LED headlamps, carbon roof, diffuser, L-shaped tail lamps, new alloy wheels. The competition package brings in high gloss shadow line exterior trim seen on the side window trim, window recess finishers, mirror frames, kidney grille, side gills & the badge on the tail.

Both cars with come with a twin tailpipe M Sports exhaust system with flap concept with black chrome tailpipes. The cars feature 19″ M light alloy wheels and an optional 20″ rim with star spoke styling.

Inside, you get the M badging used generously, M steering wheel with contrast stitching, M entry sills, M gearshift lever, lightweight sport seats & seat belts with woven-in BMW M stripes.

Powering the M3 sedan and M4 coupe is a 3.0L, M TwinPower turbo, inline, 6-cylinder petrol motor producing 550 Nm of peak torque and 450 HP of power helping the car sprint from 0-100 kmph in 4 seconds and a limited top speed of 250 kmph. With the M drivers package, the top speed can be increased to 280 kmph. Engine is matched to a 7-speed M dual-clutch automatic gearbox with drivelogic.

Both cars also get Adaptive M suspension. The active M differential on the rear axle and DSC offer unmatched dynamics. Other safety features include multiple airbags, ABS, and much more.
