BMW launches X6 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition in India at INR 1,11,00,000

BMW has launched the X6 40i ‘50 Jahre M Edition’ in India. The premium SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) is priced at INR 1,11,00,000 (ex-showroom).

The 50 Jahre M Edition is offered in many cars from the BMW stable. The limited edition models celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic BMW M, the in-house performance division of the German carmaker.

Design of the X6 40i 50 Jahre M Edition

The limited edition X6 gets a gloss black kidney grille with illumination. There is a classic ‘BMW Motorsport logo’, 20-inch M alloy wheels, M sport brake callipers, a sporty front apron, large air intakes, and side sills. It has BMW Laserlight headlights that can illuminate up to 500m of the road ahead without blinding oncoming traffic.

On the Inside, the X6 40i 50 Jahre M Edition gets 4 zone air-conditioning, Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, Comfort Access System and Sports Seats as standard. Apart from these, the limited edition SUV also gets features like temperature-controlled (both heated and cooled) cup holders, wireless charging and a panoramic sunroof.

M features on the X6 40i 50 Jahre M Edition

The X6 40i 50 Jahre M Edition also comes with certain M features. These include the Adaptive M Suspension, M-Sport exhaust system and M Sport brakes. While the aforementioned features are standard, an optional Racer’s Pack is offered to prospective owners. This includes side decals and a rear spoiler. The Motorsport Pack comes with an Alcantara and Carbon Fibre keyfob along with Carbon Fibre ORVM.

X6 40i 50 Jahre M Edition Engine and Transmission

A 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder petrol engine powers the limited edition. It generated 335 BHP of peak power @ 5,500-6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 450 Nm @ 1,500-5,200 rpm. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels.
