Exciting news from the house of BMW. The German carmaker has introduced a new variant in the X3 line-up. Named, ‘X3 xDrive 20d M Sport’. This SUV will retail at an ex-showroom price of INR 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This price tag is a good INR 2.60 lakh costlier than the xDrive 20d Luxury Edition that it is positioned above.
With the BMW X3 20d M, we get to more sporty exterior design and colours. In terms of features and equipment as well, the new BMW X3 20d M Sport has some new additions. The notable features include adaptive LED headlamps, LED tail lights, an aluminium finish for the roof rails, 19-inch M-light alloy wheels, and an M Sport exterior package. Customers also get the option to choose from four colour shades. These are Black Sapphire, Sophisto Grey, Brilliant Effect, Mineral White, and Phytonic Blue.
On the Inside, the new trim of the BMW X3 range comes equipped with a powered tailgate. In addition to this, the SUV also benefits from BMW Live Cockpit Plus with navigation, three-zone automatic climate control, Sports seats, Sport leather steering wheel, and cruise control with brake function. Occupants will also appreciate the dual-tone interior theme, gesture control, Park Assistant Plus, electrically adjustable driver seat with memory function, and ambient lighting. There is also a Harman Kardon-sourced music system, and TPMS on offer.
As for the engine options, BMW X3 20d M Sport gets a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. The power output of this motor reads as 188 BHP and 400 Nm of torque. This motor is available with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. Customers can also opt to have the X3 20d M Sport with BMW’s much coveted xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
