BMW has launched the 630i M Sport Signature in India. This is nothing by a new variant of the 6 Series Gran Turismo. BMW has set the price for this car at INR 75.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
For starters, the BMW 630i M Sport Signature comes with the German carmaker’s flagship Laserlight with Adaptive functionality. It also comes with electrically adjustable front seats, lumbar support and memory as well. Not to mention the soft-close doors.
On the inside, BMW has used Dakota leather upholstery and contrast stitching to enhance the insides. The car also comes with comfort features like quad-zone climate control, dual pane panoramic sunroof and a Harman Kardon music system. The rear occupants get the rear seat entertainment package which entails two 10.25-inch touchscreens with a Blueray player, screen mirroring and more. Meanwhile, the 12.3-inch central infotainment screen supports BMW Gesture Control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Safety features on the BMW 630i M Sport Signature include the likes of Remote Control Parking, Attentive Assistance, DSC, Traction Control and Electronic Differential Lock Control and more.
BMW has equipped this car with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This motor develops 255 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1,550-4,400 rpm. Meanwhile, the transmission duties are taken care of by an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Other features on the car include a self-levelling air suspension and five drive modes – Sport, Comfort, Comfort+, Eco Pro and Adaptive.
The BMW 6 Series GT is closely related to the 5 Series. The car was first introduced back in 2017. In 2021, BMW updated the model. That said, it was reported that the 6 Series GT wasn’t a market success, and hence due to the low demand, BMW has decided to discontinue the product towards the end of this year. The BMW 6 Series GT will not be offered for the 2024 model year.
