BMW has launched the all-new X3 in India at prices starting from INR 49.90 lakh for the base expedition variant and INR 56.70 lakh for the luxury line variant. For now, the new X3 is available only in a single diesel engine option. BMW has started local assembly of the new X3 in India, and reveals that the petrol variants would be launched later in 2018.
As expected, the luxury line variant of the new X3 adds a lot of chrome to the exterior body trim. This new SUV will be available in white, grey, black and blue paint options. Inside, the new BMW X3 on the Expedition variant you get Leatherette Beige & Black while on the Luxury Line variant you get Leather Vernasca Beige & Mocha shades.
The new BMW X3 comes with a bolder kidney grille, new LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, new alloy wheels, new bumpers, new crease lines, new dashboard, new centre console, new speedo console, different seat styling and compared to the older model, looks far more premium. It also gets an automatic tailgate operation.
The BMW Display Key will also be offered on the new X3.
Powering the BMW X3 xDrive 20d variants is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel motor producing 190 HP of power and 400 Nm of torque matched to a 8-speed automatic gearbox. The car sprints from 0-100 kmph in 8 seconds. For safety, you have traction control, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic automatic differential brakes / locks, adaptive suspension, ABS with EBD, stability control, cornering brake control, attentiveness assistance, electric parking brake, side impact protection, and plenty of airbags.
