BMW has made a few changes to the 2023 model year 3 Series. The car is now offered only in the elongated wheelbase version. It comes with minor cosmetic updates on the outside. These include chrome double bars on the kidney grille, slim LED headlamps with L-shaped daytime running lamps and others. The M Sport kit adds anthracite headliner, M leather steering wheel, M-specific seat surfaces and other interior trims.
On the inside, there is extra leg space thanks to extra length. The 3 Series Gran Limousine gets a 2,961 mm wheelbase. This is 110 m longer than the regular 3 Series. Comfort features like electric seats, panoramic sunroof, multi-colour ambient lighting and triple zone climate control are standard. There is also a new BMW Curved Display with a 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster for the driver and a large 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and wireless charging for your cell phone.
There are a choice of two engines – a 2.0-litre turbo petrol with 255 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 400 Nm of peak torque @ 1,550-4,400 rpm and a 2.0-litre oil burner with a rating of 188 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and same peak torque of 400 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels using an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
