According to BluArmour, the C50Pro fills up the gaps that the C30 had, which includes a bulky design and difficult to access buttons. The C50Pro is more user friendly and can be attached and detached to the helmet easily. In addition to this, the brand has also made performance enhancements to the C50Pro over the C30, which had already set new benchmarks in the helmet intercom industry.
The BluArmour C50Pro combines advanced technology and functionality into a sleeker product, delivering higher performance than the C30 and thus is the company’s new flagship model. The C50Pro has been designed through constant customer feedback and claims to blend “what customers want with what customers need”. Also, the BluArmour C50Pro gets a best-in-class battery life of 16 hours, even though the design is more compact. In addition to this, the C50Pro also comes with a unique MagDock system that offers cable free mounting. The new system offers high-definition voice clarity through wide-band speech and has been improved to offer reliable mesh connection with continuous background monitoring and adjustment of link strength. The system also supports music sharing over mesh, making it the first intercom in the world to come with such a feature. Furthermore, the device also comes with Tuned by BluTM Signature Hardware with an all-new two-level noise suppression engine. The intercom is also capable of connecting to other devices such as phones, 2W clusters, action cameras, GPS devices as well as supports universal intercom, thanks to its PortWeave technology.
The BluArmour C50 also comes with RideAura, a technology that illuminates LED lights on the device when it detect deceleration through an IMU (Inertia Measuring Unit). Upon detection of deceleration the C50Pro lights up in a brake pattern enhancing the visibility of the rider and giving the vehicle behind a few extra seconds to react. Also using the same IMU system, the intercom unit can also detect a crash. The C50Pro intercom system comes with a T-Stick Wireless controller which can be mounted anywhere, such as the motorcycle handlebar, the tank
