Mumbai-based electric mobility solutions company, BGauss has announced that the brand has opened the first showroom in Panvel, near Navi Mumbai. The showroom marks the entry of the brand’s versatile product portfolio that includes Lead-Acid and Lithium-Ion e-scooters, in the region. The brand also caters to markets outside of Mumbai such as Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai. The new showroom near Navi Mumbai has already commenced deliveries on the BGauss electric scooters that were booked online, through the BGauss website.
The new BGauss showroom is located at Sant Krupa, Plot No.199/A, Dr Ambedkar Road, Opp, Patwardhan Hospital, Old Panvel. In addition to booking the electric scooters, customers can avail test rides and explore the range of BGauss electric scooter at the showroom. According to the brand, the showroom is one of a kind and offers a customized and interactive experience to its customers. Customers also have the option of booking BGauss electric scooters from the official website.
Primarily BGauss has two e-scooters the A2 and B8 with prices starting at INR 52,499 and goes up to INR 88,999 for the range-topping B8. Both the A2 and B8 come with Lead-Acid battery and Lithium-Ion battery options. The BGauss e-scooters come with features such as Reverse Assist, keyless start, Centralized Seat Lock, USB charging, anti-theft alarm, anti-theft motor locking, 3 riding modes (Low, Mid, High), daytime running lights, Multi-colored Digital Display, side stand sensor and a mobile app.
The entry-level BGauss A2 is powered by a 250 Watts electric motor paired with a 60V VRLA fixed lead-acid battery which takes 7-8 hours to charge from 0 to 100% SOC (State of Charge) or an optional 1.29 kW user-removable Lithium-Ion battery pack which takes 2 hours 15 minutes to completely charge. The A2 is capable of returning a range of 110 km on a single charge and can do a top speed of 25 kmph.
The premium range BGauss B8 is powered by a 1900 Watts Bosch BLDC (Brushless) motor paired to a 60V VRLA lead-acid battery pack or a user-removable 1.45 kW Lithium-Ion battery pack returning a range of 78 km and 70 km respectively. The B8 takes 7-8 hours to charge the battery from 0-100% on the lead-acid model and 3 hours to completely recharge on the Lithium-ion model. The B8 can reach a top speed of 50 kmph.
