BGAUSS has launched the C12i EX e-scooter in India. The price for this innovative electric scooter is set at INR 99,999 (ex-showroom). This is the second scooter in the C12i line-up after the C12i MAX, which has already garnered over 6,000 customers in a span of just 3 months since launch.

This scooter sits in the sub-1 lakh segment. Hence, the company has offered it with a range of features. BGAUSS has positioned the C12i EX as a family scooter. According to the scooter maker, the C12i EX is ideal for not just daily short commutes but also family outings.
BGAUSS C12i EX is offered in seven colour options. Some of the features of the scooter include a smart battery and motor controller amongst others. The scooter is 100% Made in India and showcases the company’s dedication to delivering top-tier electric scooters.
Powertrain of the BGAUSS C12i EX
The scooter is equipped with a removable Lithium Ion (LFP) battery. This offers hassle-free maintenance as well as three hour charging time. The ARAI range of the scooter is claimed to be 85 km.
The scooter comes with a completely waterproof, IP 67 rated, electric motor and battery. Further, the battery has protection against dust and heat as well. The rotor meanwhile is rated at 2500W.
The C12i EX is also equipped with CAN-enabled technology that keeps customers connected and in control at all the times.
Pricing and Warranty of the BGAUSS C12i EX
The introductory price of INR 99,999 is valid till 19 September 2023. To instil confidence in the buyers, the electric scooter is bundled with a 5-year warranty. Meanwhile, the larger C12i MAX is priced at Rs 1,26,153.
Customers can book their ride on the company website as well as any of the 125 dealerships across the country. The BGAUSS brand offers a range of premium electric automobiles, designed for the urban and developing areas.
