Bentley launches Flying Spur Hybrid in India at INR 5.25 crore

Bentley has introduced the Flying Spur Hybrid in India. This luxury car is priced at INR 5.25 crore, ex-showroom Delhi.

The Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid also signifies the commencement of the Bentley’s hybrid lineup. The move comes as the carmaker is aiming to be carbon-neutral across its entire product offerings. Till 2024, Bentley will offer hybrid vehicles and the first all-electric Bentley is expected in the market by 2025. By 2030, the luxury carmaker aims to transition to all-electric vehicles only.

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid : More Details

One of the main talking points of the car is the exhaustive list of customization options. These include more than 60 exterior paint options, as well as the personalisation by going for the Mulliner. The carmaker is offering 15 choices for the inside leather and 8 different types of veneers. Furthermore, the stitching and seat piping, diamond quilt, emblems and the 3D leather for panels can be made as per the customer’s choice.

At the front, the Flying Spur hybrid gets a matrix grille finished in a dark tint, DRLs that look like crystals, and round LEd headlamps. Overall, the front end looks imposing. The sedan rides on 22-inch alloys finished in a 10-spoke pattern. The back is finished with square LED tail lamps.

Powertrain of the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid

Bentley has used a 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine for the Flying Spur Hybrid. This engine is paired with a hybrid system. The combined system output is 536 BHP and 750 Nm. The company claims a 0-100 km/h time of 4.3 seconds.

Furthermore, the Flying Spur Hybrid is also the most fuel economical Bentley with a full-tank range in excess of 800 km.

Bentley Batur : More Details

Only 18 units of the Batur are going to be produced. The car was first showcased at the 2022 Monterey Car Week. The Bentley Batur follows in the footsteps of the Bacalar convertible – the luxury carmaker’s one off coach built projects.

The Batur is based on the Continental GT Speed. It uses the same 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine. This motor develops 730 HP and over 1000 Nm of torque. This makes the Batur one of the fastest road-going Bentleys ever made. The extra power is thanks to revised components like air intake, upgraded turbochargers and intercoolers as well software tweaked transmission, stability control amongst others.
