Benelli India has successfully organised its first-ever Dealer Technician Skill Contest 2021. A total of 43 dealer technicians took part in this national-level event. This competition had three contest stages that included qualifiers, semi-final and final. Starting with the qualifiers and semi-final stages that were held online.
The final stage took place at Benelli India’s training center in Hyderabad. Wherein out of 43 participants, 9 progressed for the final stage. The final stage was quite demanding as the tasks given to the technicians were quite challenging. It involved problem identification and solving approaches in electrical/EFI/Engine and vehicle-related concerns. Furthermore, all these tasks were time-limited, and hence this made the tasks much more tedious. Alongside this, the participants also had to inspect different engines and electrical parts with the use of workshop and measuring instruments.
Mr Shekar M from Benelli-Bengaluru was the winner of this national-level contest. Meanwhile, Mr Shahnawaz Akram of Benelli-Noida and Mr Abhilash VD of Benelli-Vyttila received first and second runner-ups. Benelli will organise this event next year as well and expects much more participation, thus making the event even more successful. Going forward, Benelli India has confirmed that it will continue to nurture its top talents by organising even more such employee centred activities.
This is a great platform to recognise the hard work and dedication of technicians working at Benelli India workshops. This will boost their confidence to develop more skills and enhance Benelli India’s services across the country. For any automotive company, its service centers play a pivotal role in improving the ownership experience. And with Benelli India as well, this is no different.
