Benelli has unveiled the new TRK 552X Adventure motorcycle in the international market. The Benelli TRK 552X comes with a larger, more powerful engine, and a new muscular design. The brand has reworked the front fascia but the rear end appears similar to its predecessor, the TRK502X. The motorcycle also comes with new Marzocchi front suspension as well and is more off-road ready than before. However, one element that goes amiss on the new TRK 552X is the 21-inch front wheel.
The Benelli TRK 552X comes with a new design offering a beefed up front featuring dual-LED headlamps. The windscreen is also larger than before and the beak sharper making it look longer. The motorcycle also comes with a reworked fairing and a muscular fuel tank. The TRK552X also comes with a scooped split seat setup and a sleek tail which is similar to the TRK502X. In addition to this, the Benelli TRK552X also gets cross-spoke gold finish wheels shod in dual sport tyres.
Benelli is offering the TRK552X with features such as a 5-inch TFT display and backlit switch cubes. The motorcycle also comes with Bluetooth connctivity, multiple display layouts as well as a tyre pressure monitoring system. The brand is also offering the bike with a Marzocchi front and rear suspension system as well as a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel with cross spoke rims and tubeless dual sport tyres. However, the motorcycle is not supplied with riding or traction control modes.
Powering the Benelli TRK552X is a 550cc in-line twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 60 Hp of power and 55 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The GT Series engine also comes with a 270-degree crankshaft configuration which will not only offer a torque-specific power delivery but also give out a grunt exhaust note.
While Benelli will be currently retailing the motorcycle in China, the motorcycle is expected to soon hit the European markets as well. This could be followed by its launch in India, in the near future. However, the brand has not yet announced the arrival of the Benelli TRK552X in India.
