Benelli is 110 years old, Anniversary Celebratory Logo Revealed

Benelli is celebrating 110-years with a new celebratory logo. The brand revealed a new ‘110 Lion of Pesaro’ logo identifying the company’s journey from 1911 to 2021. The Benelli Style Centre designs the new celebratory logo. Sources report that the celebrations will begin in Pesaro from 13th to 19th September at the Benelli Week 2021. The event will be organised by Benelli Historical Register and Tonino Benelli Motoclub. Furthermore, Benelli will celebrate the 110th anniversary at the Officine Benelli Museum. The museum houses 200 classic Benelli and MotoBi motorcycles. 

Benelli Motorcycles to Look for in 2021

Benelli is planning to launch a range of motorcycle in the international market. The brand’s Chinese parents have received type-approvals for the QJ Motor Race 250 and Race 350 supersport motorcycles in the entry-level segment. The brand is also working on a new Leoncino 550 motorcycle in the Scrambler motorcycle segment. In the middleweight segment, QJ Motor also received type-approvals for a 500c sports bike. All these QJ Motor bikes are likely to be rebadged as Benelli’s for sale in the international market.

New Benelli Leoncino 500 Sport

Recently, Benelli also revealed the new Benelli Leoncino 500 Sport. A Cafe Racer style motorcycle in China. The Leoncino 500 Sport is based on the standard Leoncino 500 scrambler but comes with clip-on handlebars, a bikini fairing, a small saddlebag. The motorcycle retains the engine and mechanical specifications from the predecessor but comes with a more aggressive rider’s triangle. Powering the Leoncino 500 Sport is a 499.6cc twin-cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled DOHC engine with electronic fuel injection makes 47.5 PS of power and 47 Nm of torque and a 6-speed gearbox. 

Benelli in India

The brand recently launched the BS6 compliant TRK 500 and TRK 500X in the Indian market. Earlier this year, the Chinese-owned Italian brand also launched the BS6 compliant Leoncino 500 scrambler in India. Benelli is likely to bring the entry-level Race 250 and Race 350 to the Indian market in the near future as well. The brand is also expanding its sales and service network in India and recently launched its 41st exclusive dealership in the country.
