Benelli introduces Low EMI scheme on 2020 Imperiale 400 BS6

Benelli India has announced a new Low EMI scheme for its popular retro-classic motorcycle, the Imperiale 400. The Chinese-owned Italian brand launched the 2020 Imperiale 400 in its BS6 avatar at the starting price of INR 1.99 lakh ex-showroom in the Indian market. The new scheme offers up to 85% funding and comes with a low EMI offer of INR 4,999. The offer can be availed at all Benelli India dealerships in the country.

The Benelli Imperiale 400 can be booked by putting down a reservation amount of INR 6,000 online by visiting the brand’s online sales channel or by visiting the Benelli dealership in India. Benelli India is also offering the Imperiale 400 with the best-in-class 3-Year Unlimited Kilometre Warranty and 2-years of complimentary service as Standard. Additionally, a 3rd-year Annual Maintenance Contract, Pick & Drop facility and 24X7 RSA service is also being offered with the Benelli Imperiale 400.

In terms of the design highlights, the Imperiale 400 features retro-classic styling inspired by the historical Benelli-MotoBi range produced in the 1950s. The Imperiale 400 comes with a neo-retro chrome-bezeled rounded headlamp unit, a tear-drop shaped fuel tank, rounded chrome mirrors, twin-pot analogue speedometer and tachometer with a small digital LCD display, split seats, a black-finished engine with a straight low-slung exhaust with chrome heat covers and classic spoke wire rims.

Powering the Imperiale 400 is a BS6 emission-compliant 374cc single-cylinder, air-cooled four-stroke electronically fuel-injected 4-valve SOHC long-stroke engine that produces 21 PS of power and 29 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch.

For cycle parts, the Imperiale 400 features double-cradle steel tubes and plate reinforced chassis that rides on 41mm diameter telescopic front forks and swingarm with double shock absorber on the rear. Stopping power comes from a single 300mm disc with 2 pistons floating calliper on the front and a single 240 mm disc with a single-piston floating calliper with a dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Benelli Imperiale 400 is available in three colour options – Red, Silver and Black.
