Batt:RE, the Jaipur-based electric scooter manufacturer, will soon unveil an all-new scooter. The company also revealed the new high-speed electric scooter would be called Stor:ie. Batt:RE will unveil the new electric scooter in May 2022. The launch will take place in Jaipur. According to the company, the Stor:ie is a strategic addition to expanding Batt:RE’s electric vehicle portfolio.
Batt:RE currently has a dealership network of 380 plus dealerships in 19 states and 300 cities. The brand is also one of the fastest-growing EV start-ups, registering a year-on-year growth of 372 per cent in 2022.
The manufacturer says the new model will come with many unique and first-in-class features. The Stor:ie is one of the few electric scooters to get metal body panels. The metal body panels make the e-scooter more durable and resistant to scrapes and scratches. Another highlight of the scooter is one of the biggest seats in its segment. Hence, the scooter offers comfortable accommodation. The scooter’s design also keeps leg room for the rider in mind.
The Stor:ie will also get new interconnected features such as Connected Drive for a better overall city commute. The company says the model prides itself as an extremely safe and hassle-free scooter. In addition to this, Batt:RE says the official reveal in May will provide more details on the features, specifications as well as price.
Batt:RE currently has five products in its lineup. These include multiple e-cycles and four e-scooters. The lineup starts with the range of e-cycles. Currently, the starting price of the e-cyles is INR 29,900 MSRP. The e-cycles are available with multiple battery ratings and console type options. The e-cycles come in four variants – Huge, Newtron, Montra and Kross.
The electric scooter range consists of four models – LO:EV, IOT, gps:ie and ONE. The price range starts at INR 68,900 ex-showroom for the LO:EV. On the other hand, the top-end IOT model has a starting price of INR 80,900 ex-showroom.
