Bajaj teases new Pulsar NS400, the biggest Pulsar ever

In the recent past we revealed that Bajaj is planning to introduce its biggest Pulsar. We also revealed that the brand will be introducing the Pulsar NS400 on the 3rd of May this year. Now the brand has officially teased the upcoming model – the all-new Bajaj Pulsar NS400. The teaser reveals that the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will be ‘Definitely Fast, Definitely Thrilling and Definitely Powerful’.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 – Engine Speculation

However, speculation is that the Pulsar NS200 is likely to use the same 373cc single-cylinder liquid cooled DOHC engine from the Bajaj Dominar 400. The motor on the Dominar 400 comes with a 6-speed gearbox and develops 40 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque. Further speculation is that the Pulsar NS400 is also likely to come with a strengthened version of the NS200 which is a beam-type perimeter frame.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 – Chassis and Suspension

The Dominar 400 too uses a similar type of chassis. In addition to the chassis, the NS400 is also likely to borrow upside-down front suspension and a monoshock on the rear from the Dominar 400. However, the spring rates and the suspension dynamics are likely to be tuned specifically for the NS400. The brand is also likely to share the braking hardware from other models to balance the economies of scale and the price the motorcycle competitively.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 – Design

On the design front, the Pulsar NS400 is likely to come with a silhouette similar to the NS200. However, its size, equipment and body graphics are likely to be major differentiators. The motorcycle is also likely to have a rich and grunt exhaust sound that will ‘definitely thrill’ NS enthusiasts.

Currently, details of the motorcycle are scarce, so stay tuned to the Shifting-Gears channel on YouTube to find out more about the Pulsar NS400 on the 3rd May 2024. We also expect some details to emerge on the internet before its planned launch.
