Seems like Bajaj has struck the right cord with the commuter segment with better performance. The recently launched Discover twins, the 150F and 150S have managed a combined sales figure of 28,000 units in the month of September 2014.
Both the bikes are powered by a 145cc, single cylinder, 4-valve, DTS-I engine pumping 14 BHP of power and 13 Nm of torque. Mounted of a double cradle frame, the engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj claims a CMVR mileage of 72 kmpl. Both get a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres with 1.9L of useable reserve.
Features include a semi-fairing on the 150F, monoshock rear suspension, petal disc brake at the front, digital + analogue instrument cluster, tubeless tyres, DC headlamp, LED tail lamp, body decals, toe + heel gear shifter, long single piece seat, black alloy wheels etc.
The Discover 150F is priced at Rs. 58,739 and the 150S is priced at Rs. 51,720 – Rs. 54,725 (Ex-showroom Pune).
