The ex-showroom pricing of the Bajaj Pulsar NS 400Z is INR 1.85 lakh, while the ex-showroom price of the Triumph Speed T4 is INR 2 lakh. Let’s see what engine specifications and features they both offer
Like the engine in the Dominar 400, the NS400Z has a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that displaces about 373 cc with a power output of 40 Ps and a torque output of 35 Nm. A 6-speed gearbox is mated to the engine. The bike has a range for longer trips thanks to its 12-litre fuel tank.
However, a 398.15 cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC, single-cylinder engine powers the Triumph Speed T4. This engine delivers produces about 31 Ps and 36 Nm of torque. The engine’s smooth power transfers are ensured by the 6-speed gearbox. Its 13-litre fuel tank gives it a good range for long-distance travel.
With its 807 mm seat height, 1344 mm wheelbase, and 168 mm ground clearance, the Pulsar NS400Z can easily handle difficult terrain. The 174 kg kerb weight guarantees a firm grip on the road.
On the other hand, the Triumph Speed T4 has an 806 mm seat height, 1406 mm wheelbase, and 180 kg kerb weight.
There is dual-channel ABS on the NS400Z. It has an LED headlamp, an LED turn signal lamp, a digital speedometer, a digital trip meter, and a digital instrument console with Bluetooth.
Double-channel ABS is equipped on Speed T4. It is classified as a roadster bike and provides a comfortable and adaptable riding experience for both long-distance and city commuting. The digital tachometer provides accurate engine RPM readings, the analogue speedometer adds a vintage touch, and the instrument console blends digital and analogue displays. A digital trip meter is also included with the bike.
