Bajaj has launched the all-new Pulsar NS400Z in the Indian market at the price of INR 1.85 lakh ex-showroom. The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is the biggest engine Pulsar ever and features street fighter styling like its NS200 sibling. The new motorcycle is also armed to its teeth in features and the price to performance ratio is also one of the best in the segment.
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is a 373.27cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine. The motor delivers 40 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle also gets ride-by-wire throttle and smart 4-way switches. The Pulsar NS400Z also comes with a 174 kg kerb weight.
The brand is also offering a 43mm upside down front suspension and a monoshock on the rear. Braking power comes from 320mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes equipped with a dual channel ABS system. The bike also features off-road modes which minimises the ABS intervention on the rear wheel giving more control to the rider but does not allow a full lock-up.

The bookings for the new Pulsar NS400Z are now open in India at Bajaj dealerships and through the brand’s online sales channels with a booking amount of INR 5,000/-. The price on the motorcycle is introductory and the brand has not yet mentioned till when it will remain unchanged, but it definitely seems to be limited. In addition to this, the new Z moniker is also new to the range indicating that more variations of the Pulsar NS400 may arrive in the near future.
