Bajaj Auto has announced a price hike for its selected range of models. We have covered the price hike in detail below. However, the recently launched Pulsar 250 All-Black variants and the Pulsar N160 are not part of this price hike scheme. Price hikes have become pretty much apparent in the recent few months for automotive companies. Bajaj, alongside a host of other car and two-wheeler makers, had taken a similar route. With the increase in input cost and the global supply chain issue, automotive firms are now offsetting some of the costs by hiking the price. All prices mentioned below are in the ex-showroom.
The Bajaj Dominar 250 has received the highest price hike, going up by INR 6,400. The motorcycle now retails at INR 1.75 lakh ex-showroom. Prices for its big brother, the Dominar 400, have also been hiked by INR 1,152. The Dominar 400 now costs INR 2.23 lakh ex-showroom.
From Bajaj’s commuter range, the much-in-demand Platina 100 Drum sees a jump of INR 1,978, with the updated price tag now at INR 63,130. Meanwhile, the Platina 110 Drum received a small hike of INR 826, and CT100X saw an INR 845 hike. With this, the motorcycles now retail at INR 65,491 and INR 66,298 ex-showroom, respectively.
For the Avenger series, prices are up by INR 563 and INR 365 for the Avenger 220 and 160, respectively. After the price hike, the Avenger 220 now costs INR 1.38 lakh ex-showroom, while the Avenger 160 gets an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.12 lakh.
Earlier this month, Bajaj also announced a price hike for some of its other models. This includes the Pulsar 125 Disc (up by INR 1,101), Pulsar 150 (hiked by up to INR 717), Pulsar NS125 (up by INR 1,165), Pulsar NS160 (hiked by INR 896), Pulsar NS200 (pricier by INR 999), Pulsar RS200 (up by INR 1,088) and Pulsar N250 single-channel ABS (hiked by INR 1,299).
