The Bajaj Pulsar N125 has once again emerged from the shadows, spotted during road testing ahead of its anticipated launch in the coming months. Bajaj aims to position the N125 as a sporty, 125cc commuter that takes on the TVS Raider. Let’s delve into the details:
The Pulsar N125’s design hints at a bike larger than your typical 125 cc commuter. Notably, the tank features extensions that stretch beyond the telescopic fork suspension, giving it a substantial presence. The LED headlight adds to its appeal, while the side panels flow seamlessly into the raised tail section. Unique twin LED tail lights distinguish it from other bikes in the Bajaj Pulsar family.
It also gets a digital, reverse LCD display, and rumors suggest that the top variant might even come with Bluetooth connectivity.
While specifics about the engine remain scarce, industry insiders speculate that Bajaj might employ a downsized version of the Pulsar N150’s engine. Known for its refinement, rideability, and fuel efficiency, this engine could be a strong contender in the 125 cc segment. We anticipate a sporty exhaust note, akin to its competition—the TVS Raider.
The Pulsar N125 is likely to share its chassis with the Pulsar N150. Expect a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike will ride on 17-inch wheels, shod with MRF tires. Braking duties will be handled by a single front disc and a rear drum brake, possibly complemented by a Combined Braking System (CBS).
