Bajaj Pulsar CS400 & 400SS coming in March / April 2015

Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, MD of Bajaj Auto has mentioned in an interview that the bigger Pulsar range of motorcycles which were revealed at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo could debut around March or April 2015.

Both bikes are expected to be powered by a 375cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, triple spark, fuel injected motor coupled to a 6-speed transmission. Power and torque figures not revealed yet.

Pulsar 400SS will share similar styling to the smaller, Pulsar 200SS.

Pulsar 400SS features:

  • Full fairing
  • Dual projector headlamp setup
  • LED DRLs
  • LED tail lamp
  • Front and rear disc brake
  • Telescopic front fork and rear monoshock
  • Split seats
  • Clip-on handlebar
  • Digital + analogue instrument cluster
  • Rear view mirrors mounted on the fairing
  • ABS

Pulsar CS400 features:

  • Brakes equipped with ABS
  • Naked, street bike styling
  • Upside down front fork and rear monoshock
  • Headlamp with bikini fairing and a black lens mask
  • All-digital instrument cluster
  • Speed and selected gear display on the fuel tank
  • Long, single piece step-up seat
  • Midship exhaust muffler
  • LED tail lamp
  • LED turn indicators
  • Grab rails for pillion
  • 5 bi-spoke alloy wheels in black and silver
  • Engine underbelly cowl
  • New rear swingarm

Expected pricing for both the bikes is under Rs. 2 lakh (on-road).
