Bajaj has announced the price hike for the newly introduced N250 and F250 Pulsar series. Customers planning to buy the N250 will have to spend INR 1,180 more, thus taking the total cost to INR 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The F250 also receives a marginal price hike of INR 915, and hence now the motorcycle will cost around INR 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom). The price hike is quite common in the Bajaj range of products. At the launch, the motorcycle maker announces the products at reasonable prices. But, then they keep on increasing the price each month.
Even since Pulsar entered the Indian market, it has been the bread and butter for Bajaj. This is the model that makes Bajaj a household in the Indian two-wheeler market. And to keep up with the legacy, Bajaj had introduced the updated Pulsar lineup, in the form of two products. This includes the N250 and the F250. Both the motorcycles get significant updates both mechanically and aesthetically. Powering the machines is a brand new 24.5hp, 21.5Nm, 249.07cc, SOHC, air and oil-cooled engine. Few might complain about the equipped 5-speed gearbox unit, but we say Bajaj has got it right with the gear ratio. The motorcycle does feel lively and keeps up with the Pulsar brand’s character.
With a competitive price, Pulsars have always been customers’ top choice. And with the new Pulsar series as well, this is no different. Other options in this category include the likes of Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Bajaj is now expanding its business in the international market quite rapidly. In fact, the company is India’s top exporter in the two-wheeler market. Domestic top sellers like the Pulsar, CT, Boxer among others. With the business slowly opening up, we can expect the figure to grow even more rapidly in the coming months.
