BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 ‘Split Seat’ variant launched at INR 79,091

Bajaj has launched the Pulsar 125 with a split seat variant at the price of INR 79,091 ex-showroom, Delhi for the disc brake variant. The brand has extended the Pulsar 125 range with this new model that remains largely unchanged apart from its new seating and a few styling add-ons. Needless to say, the Pulsar 125 comes with a BS6 compliant engine same as the standard Pulsar 125 which has also been upgraded to match BS6 conformity and is priced at INR 70,995 ex-showroom, Delhi. 

In terms of styling, the new Pulsar 125 Split Seat edition features a new stylish belly pan and split grab rails as seen on the Bajaj Pulsar 150 twin disc. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat edition on the front end comes with what Bajaj calls a “wolf-eyed headlamp cluster”, LED pilot lamps, infinity twin strip LED tail lamps, a body-coloured headlamp shroud with graphic accents, a small smoked flyscreen, the signature Pulsar tank with 3D badging, angular tank cowling, a wide digital instruments console, clip-on style handlebars, side cowling with accented gills, a sharp angular rear cowling and black alloy wheels. 

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat is powered by the same BS6 emission compliant 124.4cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, counterbalanced, DTS-i engine with electronic fuel injection technology that produces 11.8 PS of power and 10.8 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of mechanical hardware, the Pulsar 125 Split Seat comes with 31mm conventional telescopic front forks, twin gas-charged shock absorbers on the rear, a 240mm single hydraulically operated disc on the front and a 140mm mechanically operated drum brake on the rear with Anti-Skid Braking system. 

Bajaj introduced the Pulsar 125 variant in August last year and the brand sold 1 lakh units within the first 6 months of its launch and the new variant is targeted towards premium commuter segment customers who want to buy a sporty motorcycle at an affordable price point. 

The Pulsar 125 Split Seat is offered in Neon Green (on Matte Black), Black Silver & Black Red colour options across all Bajaj Auto dealerships in India.
