The smallest Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle on sale in India till today had been the Pulsar 135 LS. But Bajaj has now introduced a new Pulsar 125 Neon model which becomes the smallest capacity Pulsar ever. Do note, Bajaj has a different Pulsar NS125 on sale in international markets, but what we get is a 125cc engine in the classic Pulsar body style.
Bajaj is offering the Pulsar 125 Neon in 2 variants – priced at INR 64,000 for the drum brake variant and INR 66,618 for the disc brake variant. Bikes have been dispatched to all dealerships and deliveries will commence soon. Bajaj claims that the Pulsar 125 Neon comes with class leading features.
Powering this model, the 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon in India is a 124.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke petrol motor producing 12 PS of power @ 8500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque @ 6500 RPM matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The Pulsar 125 rides on a telescopic front fork and a twin gas charged rear shock absorber. The bike has a 140 kg kerb weight and seat height of 790 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm.
The rear brake option is a 130 mm drum only while at the front you can decide between a 170 mm drum or a 240 mm disc brake. Of course, you get combi-brake system on this motorcycle because that is mandatory on all two-wheelers under 125cc.
The Pulsar 125 Neon as the name suggests comes with neon body decals on the rims, headlamp fairing, grab rail, side body panel and for the Pulsar badge on the tank. Rest o the bike gets a dark theme with black painted engine, alloy wheels and exhaust. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon also comes with clip-on handlebars, kick starter, counter-balancer which make it superior in the feature list compared to rivals.
The 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon can be purchased in Neon blue on Matte Black, Solar Red & Platinum Silver paint schemes.
