Bajaj Auto has launched a refreshed version of their Platina commuter motorcycle. The new Platina 110 has been launched at a price of INR 49,197 ex-showroom, and this bike now comes with CBS (Combi Brake) system. Bajaj however is calling this technology as Anti-Skid Braking System. Do not confuse this with ABS.

Anti-Skid Braking System, or Combi Brake as we know it works in a way to apply even brake force on both wheels. This ensures safe riding, as the bike can come to a halt much better than a bike without CBS.

Bajaj claims that the Platina 110 is a motorcycle in its class to offer 20% lesser jerks while riding. It is more comfortable is what they want to pitch, compared to other commuter models. The bike comes with a long seat for optimum comfort and rides on tubeless tyres which are also a standard fit. Gas charged rear shock absorbers help in a good ride quality.

The Platina 110 will be available in black with grey decals, black with blue decals and a wine red body colour.

Powering the Bajaj Platina 110 is a 115cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor producing 8.6 PS of power @ 7000 RPM and 9.81 Nm of torque @ 5000 RPM matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike gets stopping power from drum brakes at the front and back coupled with CBS.
