Bajaj Auto has opened the online sale of its motorcycle range. The company is also offering KTM and Husqvarna products under this same online channel. Back in 2007, Bajaj bought about 14.5% stake in KTM Power Sports AG and currently the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer holds about 47.87% interest in KTM. Since 2013, after the transfer from Pierer Industrie AG Husqvarna Motorcycle has been a part of the KTM group.
The interested buyers will have to visit the official website of Bajaj Auto which lists down all its products including Avenger, CT, Dominar, Platina, Pulsar, Husqvarna and KTM models. The customers will choose their required motorcycle based on the specifications, engine capacity, colours and variants. At last, there will be a summary page that lists down the final ex-showroom price and the dealer network of the respective customer’s city from where the motorcycle is available. The customers can also avail of other services like online test ride appointment, payment for the vehicle booking and more. The amount paid for booking the vehicle will be adjusted with the final payment at the time of delivery. Currently, this online booking facility is available in five cities namely, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad. This is an excellent step from Bajaj Auto which will enable customers to follow COVID guidelines by staying at home which is currently the need of the hour as there has been a recent spike in the number of COVID cases in India.
