Bajaj launched the Dominar 400 a few years back now, however, their campaigns against the Royal Enfield range of products causes a lot of buzz, and mostly hurting the Dominar 400 more. BUT! The Bajaj Dominar 400 is a superior product. It still remains the flagship motorcycle from the Bajaj stable and it is soon going to get a few upgrades.
A recent spyshot posted online reveals that the refreshed Dominar 400 will get USD front forks and a dual exhaust end can. This new suspension is expected to improve the riding dynamics of the motorcycle, while the changes to the exhaust might be more than just cosmetic, but to make the bike more efficient. The spyshot also hints at a larger redesigned radiator, which will help keep the bike running cooler.
The KTM Duke 390 now comes with ride-by-wire technology, but we are not sure of the Dominar 400 will get this. Also, this could lead to a noticeable price bump. Especially if the bike gets USD forks and ride-by-wire. Bajaj might be preparing this refreshed Dominar 400 to get it BS VI compliant.
Powering the Bajaj Dominar is a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor producing 34.5 HP of power and 35 Nm of torque. These figures could also improve on the updated motorcycle. For sure the new version will be more expensive. Will it sell better? Time will tell…
