Bajaj Dominar 250 price reduced by INR 16,800

Bajaj has announced that the brand has reduced the price of the Bajaj Dominar 250 in the Indian market. The price reduction is on the contrary when almost the entire automotive industry is looking at a price hike due to the rise in material costs and freight. But by announcing quite the opposite, Bajaj has explicated why the brand is the World’s Favourite Indian.

Bajaj Dominar 250 – New Price

The Bajaj Dominar 250 now comes with a price tag of INR 1,54,176 ex-showroom, Delhi. The brand reveals that the motorcycle is available at a never-seen-before price tag. The new reduced price tag will make the bike more accessible to touring enthusiasts. The Bajaj Dominar 250 now costs INR 16,800 less than previously priced.

The brand also reveals that the motorcycle remains the same both cosmetically and mechanically. The Bajaj Dominar 250 made its debut in March 2020 to help expand the touring culture in India. The bike is based on the Bajaj Dominar 400, which comes with higher specifications, but similar design and ergonomics.

Bajaj Dominar 250 – Engine Specifications

Powering the Bajaj Dominar 250 is a 248.8cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The four-stroke four-valve DOHC engine delivers 27 PS of power and 23.5 Nm of torque. The engine comes with electronic fuel injection, and twin spark setup and a 6-speed gearbox, and a wet multi-plate clutch.

Bajaj Dominar 250 – Mechanical Specifications

The motorcycle comes with a beam type perimeter frame along with a subframe and aluminium swingarm. The bike rides on 37mm diameter USD front forks and multi-step adjustable Monoshock with Nitrox gas charge on the rear. Stopping power comes from a 300mm hydraulically operated front disc and a 230mm hydraulic single disc on the rear. The Dominar 250 comes with a dual-channel ABS for safety. The bike also gets 17-inch alloy wheels shod in road-biased tyres.

Bajaj Dominar 250 – Colours and Top Features

The Bajaj Dominar 250 comes with two colour options Canyon Red and Charcoal Black. The motorcycle gets spacecraft inspired tank pad decals, a fully digital instruments cluster and a secondary display showing time and trip information. The bike features a muscular design and comes with a twin-barrel exhaust outlet with a throaty exhaust note and heavy bass. The motorcycle also features bungee straps tucked under the seat to aid luggage mounting during long-distance trips.
