Bajaj CNG motorcycle spotted again ahead of launch, new details

Bajaj is planning to launch the world’s first CNG motorcycle in the Indian market. The motorcycle is likely to be a commuter with capabilities to traverse over rough terrain in rural India. Thanks to this dual nature, the Bajaj CNG motorcycle is likely to gain good sales traction right from the start. However, Bajaj has not yet revealed any technical details of the Bajaj CNG motorcycle. But, the bike is being road tested and spyshots reveal a few details such as its design and features. In the past, spyshots revealed very few specifics as the test mule were heavily camouflaged. But, as its launch date nears, a test mule with relatively less covers has been spotted.

Bajaj CNG Bike Spyshots

According to the spyshots, the Bajaj CNG motorcycle will have a rounded headlamp units and a small fuel tank which appears to be the shape of old enduro motorcycles. In addition to this, spyshots also reveal a long bench seat which is likely to be comfortable for two passengers. Furthermore, the Bajaj CNG bike also appears to come with ample ground clearance and an upswept exhaust. Spyshots also reveal an upright handlebar with a cross brace and telescopic front forks with rubber boots. This leads us to believe that the motorcycle has been designed not only for the urban markets but to also go on broken roads in the rural parts of India.

When Will the Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Arrive?

While Bajaj has not revealed any technical details on the CNG bike, leaked blueprints in the past revealed a small capacity CNG tank that shares space with the petrol fuel tank. However, with CNG fuel the motorcycle is likely to offer a high fuel efficiency. The motorcycle is likely to come with a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. More details on the Bajaj CNG motorcycle will be unveiled on the 5th of July when it debuts.
