Bajaj Auto has announced the availability of its latest electric scooter, the Chetak 2903, through the Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB). This initiative, effective from September 18, 2024, aims to provide departmental personnel with access to eco-friendly transportation at special rates.
The Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar, established under the Ministry of Home Affairs, serves the Central Armed Police Forces, including the BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and Assam Rifles. It also extends its services to Central Police Organizations such as the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD), and the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). This collaboration marks a milestone as Bajaj becomes one of the first electric two-wheeler manufacturers to partner with KPKB.
Eligible personnel can purchase the Chetak 2903 at special rates by presenting an authorization letter from the nearest Subsidiary Bhandar or Master Bhandar, along with a valid departmental identity card. The scooters will be available at Chetak Experience Centres (CECs) across the country, ensuring easy access for all beneficiaries.
