Audi will soon launch RS5 Sportback in India

Audi could be planning to launch the RS5 Sportback in the Indian market. The brand had briefly listed the model on the official company website in India leading us to believe that the performance sedan may be on the books for 2021. Last year Audi also updated the S5 Sportback on the company website, before its launch in the country.

Audi RS5 Sportback – Design Highlights

The Audi RS5 Sportback comes with a much sharper and sleeker design compared to the S5 Sportback. The RS5 Sportback also appears much more aggressive on the front and squats to the ground. The RS5 Sportback also features a larger engine and advanced interior features. The Audi RS5 Sportback comes with a larger MMI touch technology infotainment screen, virtual cockpit display, sporty seats with hexagonal stitching in contrast colour, Alcantra wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel, a wraparound dashboard and enhanced displays with sport-specific telemetry.

Audi RS5 Sportback – Engine Specifications

Powering the Audi RS5 Sportback is a 3.0-litre Biturbo V6 petrol engine that produces 444 Hp of power and 600 Nm of torque. The engine comes with an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission with Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system. The performance sedan claims a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 kmph.

To put things into perspective, the Audi S5 Sportback comes with a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol motor that makes 349 Hp of power and 500 Nm of torque. The engine featuresĀ an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox with Quattro all-wheel-driveline. The car is capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250 kmph.

Audi RS5 Sportback – Competition

The Audi RS5 Sportback competes with the BMW M4 Competition and the Mercedes-AMG C63 S in the international market.
