Audi S5 Sportback coming to India soon, listed on website

At the launch of the Audi Q2 Audi India officially teased the ‘next Audi model’ for the Indian market. The car in question is the Audi S5 Sportback. The brand also updated the official Indian website confirming that the Audi S5 Sportback is coming soon to the Indian market. The brand has not yet revealed the timeline of the launch but the sportier iteration of A5 is expected to arrive before the end of 2020. 

The Audi S5 Sportback, in the international market, is powered by a 3.0-litre V-6-Cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 349 Hp of power and 500 Nm of torque matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The power from the engine is transmitted to the ground via a Quattro four-wheel-drive system which enables the S5 Sportback to accelerate from 0-96 kmph (0-60 mph) in 4.5 seconds. 

The Audi S5 Sportback also features a Quattro sport rear differential that is capable of directing the torque to the appropriate wheel enabling the S5 Sportback to go through the corner with more power. The Sport Package also comes with adaptive shock absorbers can adjust dampening to help the counter body roll during a corner, increasing agility. The S sport package also includes brake callipers painted in Red. 

On the outside, the Audi S5 Sportback features the hallmark Audi Singleframe grille, sharp LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, a splitter style bumper, aero ducts on the lower apron, flared wheel arches, a muscular bonnet, a prominent shoulder line that runs across the entire length of the car, gradually sloping rear roof section giving it a coupe-like shape and a versatile liftback tailgate. 

On the inside, the Audi S5 Sportback features power-adjustable front S sport seats, control-mounted 3-spoke steering wheel with ergonomically designed controls, 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit instruments cluster, a multilayered dashboard, Carbon Atlas inlays, 10.1-inch Audi MMI touchscreen infotainment display with Audi Connect and 755-watt, 16-channel amplifier 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
