Audi India has launched the 2nd generation RS5 Coupe in India at prices starting from INR 1.1 crore (ex-showroom). This 2-door RS5 Sports Coupe joins the other A5 range of luxury cars from the German manufacturer.
The 2018 Audi India RS5 Coupe is powered by a 2.9L, V6, TwinTurbo motor which replaces the older 4.2L, naturally aspirated V8 engine. The new & smaller motor produces 450 HP of power and 600 Nm of torque. The torque figure is actually 170 Nm more compared to the older & larger engine block. Audi claims that the new RS5 Coupe can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 3.9 seconds, which is half a second quicker than the older model. Audi reveals that the RS5 Coupe has its top speed limited to 250 kmph, which can be upgraded to 280 kmph if you pay an optional amount. Engine is matched to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with Audi’s Quattro AWD.
The 2-door styling is sure to wow buyers and you also get 19″ wheels as standard with an option for 20″ rims, sport seats flat bottom steering wheel, Alcantara upholstery, sport pedals, virtual cockpit instrument cluster which is full digital. RS badging, no chrome but gloss black finishing, dual exhaust tips, etc.
