Audi has recalled 6,758 units of the A4 sedan in India to fix a software glitch in the airbag module. Cars manufactured between November 2011 to October 2014 are included in this recall and need to upgrade the airbag control software.
Cars included in this recall will only need this software upgrade and no mechanical replacements. Dealers will individually contact all these A4 owners and set up an appointment to fix this issue. This work should be performed free of cost.
This recall is a part of the global recall for the Audi A4 which accounts for 8.5 lakh cars.
