On 14th April 2021, the Audi Q4 e-tron and the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron made their world debut. The brand now reveals that the fully-electric compact SUV will go on sale from June 2021 in the European market. Audi also announced the price of the Q4 e-tron which starts at EUR 41,900 in Germany. The brand also announced that customers can claim a subsidy of EUR 9,000 (Net) on the electric SUV.

The Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron features an imposing front fascia and an expressive rear section. The brand features a progressive design that draws inspiration from the Q4 e-tron concept and the Q4 Sportback e-tron concept. The SUV comes with clear surfaces, sharp precise lines, a pared-back effect and futuristic looks. Features include an eight corner singleframe grille, chrome frame with a wide mask in a dark contrasting paint finish. The car comes with a flat A-pillar giving a low profile and a powerful D-pillar with the roofline stretching low over the body. Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron comes with 8 colour options inspired by the colours and hues found in nature.
Both the Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron comes with LED headlamps as standard. But as an option, Audi also offers Matrix LED headlights with 16 individual LEDs always illuminate the road as brightly as possible without blinding other road users. On the rear, a light strip runs across the width of the SUV and has segmented beams at the end. The cockpit features a three-dimensional design and comes with a 10.1-inch or 11.6-inch central MMI touch display. The brand has also equipped a 10.25-inch digital drivers display and a heads-up display with augmented reality technology.
The Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron will come with three drive versions. the top-of-the-line variant will be the Quattro which comes with a 299 PS power unit. The brand also revealed that the rear-wheel-drive ‘Q4 40 e-tron’ will deliver a range of 520 km in the WLTP cycle. Audi also boasts that a charging time of around ten minutes will gain 130 km of range.
