Audi is gearing up to launch the Q2 crossover SUV in the Indian market and the brand has opened pre-bookings at all Audi India dealerships and on the official company website at the amount of INR 2 lakhs. The Audi Q2 is expected to come in multiple trims for the Indian market. Now details on the variants have emerged on the internet which reveal details on the SUV before its launch.
According to the leaked details, the Audi Q2 is expected to come in five variants – Standard, Premium, Premium Plus1 Premium, Plus2 and Technology. The Standard trim is likely to be offered with an optional Sunroof. The Q2 is speculated to come with LED headlamps, LED combination tail lamps with dynamic turn indicators, power-adjustable and heated ORVMs, 17-inch alloy wheels with a multi-spoke design, aluminium scuff plates, dual-zone climate control, colour instruments console, multi-function steering wheel, interior light package, auto-dimming IRVM, 40-20-40 rear bench seats, Audi rear parking assistance, Audi MMI Radio plus music interface with 4 speakers, Bluetooth connectivity and fabric seat upholstery.
The Premium trim offers all the features from the standard trim plus an electric sunroof. In addition, the Premium trim offers Audi Virtual Cockpit display, Navigation plus with MMI touch, parking aid plus, Audi smartphone interface and 8-speaker system. The Premium Plus1 is likely to be offered with a storage package, sports seats, Audi Drive Select, Audi phone box, Audi sound system, auto-dimming ORVM, comfort key, cruise control and leather upholstery. The Premium Plus2 will include all feature of the Premium plus S-line exterior, leatherette interior elements, multi-function steering wheel with a flat bottom, ambient lights and aluminium interior trim. The Technology trim is likely to come with all the features from the Premium Plus1 and Premium Plus2 trims.
In the engine department, the Q2 is expected to come in a single powertrain variant – a Quattro 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 190 Hp of power and 320 Nm of torque matched to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The Audi Q2 crossover SUV will rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1, Mini Countryman and the Volvo XC40 in the Indian market.
