Audi India has announced a price hike for its whole portfolio which will come into effect from 1st Jan 2025. The ex-showroom costs of the full model range are said to increase by up to 3%. The company has said that the reason for the hike is linked to the high input and expenses of transportation.
To cater for a wide range of consumer tastes, Audi India currently has a wide range of collection of luxury sedans, SUVs, and electric cars. Offering elegant styling and cutting edge technology the Audi A4 and A6 sedans are popular models. The Audi Q3, Q3 Sportback, and Q5 SUVs have an Urban consumer as the target base. The Audi Q7 and Q8, are popular in the luxury market and the Audi S5 Sportback and RS5 Sportback, blend everyday utility with sportscar agility. The Audi RS Q8 is a potent SUV coupé with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
Among these the Q7 recently received a facelift in the month of November 2024. It was introduced at a starting price of 88.66 lakh (ex-showroom). Powering the Q7 is the 3.0 litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine that generates the 336 bhp of power and 500 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission. The new Q7 facelift has a new front grille and new LED headlight which can also be seen in Audi Q6 e-tron.
Audi Electric Model Range:
Audi has a lineup of luxury high-performance electric vehicles and the Audi Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron models, are part of it. High-end performance, luxury, and sustainability are offered by these e-cars and they give out a battery range of 500 kilometres. Audi’s electric grand tourers with exceptional performance are the e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT. The price rise is in line with the industry’s larger trend of handling growing expenses while preserving profitability and providing excellent customer service.
