Ather launched the new Rizta electric scooter in the Indian market. Along with the Rizta electric scooter, the brand also launched to new Smart Helmets christened “Halo”. With Halo, the brand has now entered the Smart Helmet product line. The Halo Smart Helmet comes in two forms – a full face helmet with all the bells and whistles and another entry level product called Halo Bit.
The Ather Halo Smart Helmet is a full face helmet with integrated Smart technology. The Halo helmet comes with Harman Kardon audio system. In addition to this, the Halo smart helmet also comes with the proprietary Auto WearDetect technology, that can detect when the user wear the helmet and enables its functions automatically. Furthermore, the Halo smart helmet also offers wireless charging which automatically commences as soon as the helmet is placed inside the boot of the Ather Rizta.
Through the Ather Halo Smart Helmet the user can also control the music as well as receive or reject calls using the scooter’s handlebar. Additionally, the Halo comes with Ather ChitChat which is a helmet to helmet communication system. This enables the rider and pillion to be connected on the move and talk to each other while riding. The Ather Halo also comes with a safety feature for the rider by allowing critical sounds, to warn the rider. Ather is offering the Halo Smart Helmet with two colour options as well.
Ather has also introduced the Halo Bit which is an entry-level half face smart helmet with both ISI and DOT rating. The Halo Bit also supports music sharing along with environmental noise filtration. Ather also claims that the Halo Bit comes with a 10 day battery life on a single charge.
The introductory price of Halo Smart Helmet is INR 12,999 and Halo Bit is INR 4,999.
