One of India’s rising electric two-wheeler manufacturers Ather Energy has announced its monthly sales report for February 2022. The report documents the fact that Ather Energy sold 2,042 e-scooters during this month with a 140% growth rate. In January 2022, Ather Energy addressed its concerns regarding the fulfilment of rising demands due to supply chain issues. However, for this month Ather Energy has actively worked towards reducing the demand-supply gap in preparation for the coming months.

Ather Energy’s future plans & achievements

Ather Energy recently announced its plans of continuing to scale the other parts of its business in India via partnerships. The EV manufacturer signed an MoU with the Karnataka Government which will allow it to install 1,000 charging grids. By placing these across the state of Karnataka, Ather Energy will enable EVs to go mainstream among interested consumers. To further expand its brand presence, Ather Energy entered into a partnership with the new IPL franchise, Gujarat Titans.

Ather Energy states that the scale and reach of IPL will provide them with a great platform for expansion. Along with capitalising on its geographic footprint, the company aims to bring in new audiences via the IPL partnership. Via its Twitter handle, Ather Energy announced that its e-scooter customers covered 85 million Km in India throughout 2021. The company soon broke its own milestone after its customer base managed to cross the 100 million Km mark.
