Aston Martin launches DBX 707 in India for INR 4.63 crore

In less than a year after making its international debut, Aston Martin has now launched the world’s most powerful luxury SUV, the DBX 707, in India. Compared to the standard DBX, the DBX 707 gets more upgraded performance and more aggressive styling. Production of the SUV began in March 2022 at St. Athan, Wales. And now, the high-performance luxury SUV has reached our shores as well.

Aston Martin DBX 707 – Pricing

Aston Martin has priced the DBX 707 at INR 4.63 crore ex-showroom in India. Thus, making the DBX 707 the most expensive model in Aston Martin’s Indian lineup. Compared to the standard DBX, the DBX 707 costs INR 48 lakh more.

Aston Martin DBX 707 – Highlights

Compared to the standard DBX, the DBX 707 gets a larger satin chrome grille with a double-vane mesh pattern, reworked air intakes and a different design for the LED DRLs. On the sides, the DBX 707 gets larger side skirts and rides on new 22-inch alloy wheels. There are also new 23-inch alloy wheels available as an option. At the rear, the DBX 707 is largely the same as the standard DBX. However, it does get a larger diffuser and a large-diameter quad exhaust system.

On the inside, the DBX 707 ditches the flashy chrome for a sportier-looking dark chrome finish for the switchgear. Sports Seats, an optional extra on the standard DBX, are also standard on the DBX 707. The interior also features hand-stitched leather upholstery. Other interior highlights include new shortcut buttons for drive modes on the centre console, a touchpad to control the 10.25-inch infotainment display and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display.

Aston Martin DBX 707 – Technical Specifications

Powering the DBX 707 is the same Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 as the standard DBX. However, in the DBX 707, it makes 707 PS of power and 900 Nm of torque. Thus, it makes 157 PS and 200 Nm more than the standard DBX. The engine is paired with a 9-speed ‘wet clutch’ automatic transmission with paddle shifts, which drives all four wheels.

Thanks to a new launch control system, the DBX 707 is also much faster. The DBX 707 accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.3 seconds. This makes it a whole second faster than the standard DBX. Meanwhile, Aston Martin claims it can reach a top speed of 310 kmph.

Aston Martin also re-tuned the DBX 707’s air suspension and steering system. As for the brakes, it comes with 420mm front, and 390mm rear Carbon Ceramic Brakes as standard.
