Aprilia & Vespa customers get extended warranty & free service period

Piaggio announces the extension of the warranty and free service period for Aprilia and Vespa customers. This is a similar trend to what all other automotive companies are following in the country. The surge in the Covid-19 cases in the country has put everything to a halt. The customers cannot service or avail of the warranty services because of their restricted movement. Hence, Piaggio came up with this initiative to extend the warranty and service period by one month or a maximum till 31st July 2021. This move will ensure peace of mind for the customers in these unprecedented times. All the scooters under Aprilia and Vespa will come under this initiative.

Piaggio Increasing Its Market Share in India

Even in these challenging times, Piaggio announced that it added 100 dealerships over a span of 100 days. This is quite a remarkable achievement given the current situation of lockdowns and chaos. But, it is pretty clear that Piaggio is entirely focused on the Indian market and will aim to provide its competitors with a tough fight in terms of sales figure. The brand has a very strong hold in the three-wheeler market, and now it aims to replicate the same for the scooter segment. Currently, with over 1,100 touchpoints and 725 dealerships, the company seeks to enhance its footprint. There are also plans to expand the company to overseas markets.
