Aprilia Tuareg 660 coming soon to India?

Aprilia could be planning to launch the new Tuareg 660 in the Indian market. The Italian brand has listed the Tuareg 660 on the official Indian website leading us to believe that the motorcycle could arrive here soon. The off-road adventure motorcycle made its debut in the international market at the EICMA 2021. Internationally, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 has been available since February 2022. However, looking at the booming mid-spec adventure segment in India, the brand could be planning to bring the bike here as well.

Aprilia Tuareg 660 – Technical Specifications

Powering the Tuareg 660 is a 659cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin-cylinder engine. The motor produces 80 Hp of power and 70 Nm of torque and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle comes with a long travel adjustable upside down front suspension and a rear monoshock offering an impressive 240mm of wheel travel. Furthermore, the Tuareg 660 also gets a 21-inch front, and 18-inch rear wheel shod in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. The motorcycle also comes with a steel trellis frame with a plate welded subframe. Also, the Tuareg 660 comes with an 18-litre fuel tank and a dry weight of 187 kgs. 

Aprilia Tuareg 660 – Features

Aprilia is offering the off-road spec adventure motorcycle with a commanding saddle height and straight bench seats. The slim profile of the motorcycle also makes it ergonomically easier off-roads. In addition to this, the motorcycle also comes with an impressive electronics suite. This includes an Aprilia signature triple headlamp cluster with sharp detailing and LED DRLs. The bike also gets a 5-inch colour TFT display and APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) ride-by-wire, riding modes, traction control, cruise control, engine braking etc.
